Our Environmental Code of Conduct

To protect the natural beauty of Diani and beyond, we adhere to a strict code of conduct. For instance, we actively discourage the harmful practice of killing sea urchins to feed fish—a practice that disrupts marine ecosystems. Our guides lead by example, educating both tourists and fellow operators on the importance of preserving marine life. We also encourage our guests to use reusable water bottles to help reduce plastic waste, a growing concern in tourist hotspots.

The WaterPoint Project: A Vision for Sustainable Tourism

As part of our commitment to tackling environmental challenges, we are developing the WaterPoint Project—a transformative initiative designed to reduce single-use plastic waste. The project aims to provide clean and affordable drinking water through dispenser technology at popular tourist locations. By offering an eco-friendly alternative to bottled water, we hope to make sustainable choices more accessible to travelers.

But the WaterPoint Project is more than just an environmental solution. It is an impact-driven business model that empowers individuals and communities to participate in meaningful ways. For example, investors can adopt a WaterPoint station and earn returns based on water sales, creating economic opportunities while addressing environmental issues.

We plan to implement the WaterPoint Project by 2025, and with adequate resources, this initiative will serve as a catalyst for achieving multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), from reducing waste to fostering local economic growth.
